W. Ś. Jedną z modernizacji tego granatu ręcznego w 1917 roku, było
dodanie gwiazdki na końcu kapsla zakrywającego sznurek zawleczki.
Pozwalało to odbezpieczyć granat nawet w grubej lotniczej rękawicy.
Würfgranate 15 - Granat (produkcji AEG)
do lekkiego miotacza granatów Granatewerfer 16. Ulubiona broń, ze
względu na moc rażenia odłamkami, lotników szturmowych (Schlachtstaffel)
w czasie 1 W. Ś. Pewna ilość tych granatów używana była przez polskich
lotników podczas wojny Polsko-Bolszewickiej.

THE KIT INCLUDES models:
Stielhandgranate M1917 - Favourite among German airmen in WWI. One of th
modifications of this hand grenade in 1917 was to add the star-handle at
the end of the trigger pin cord cover. This allowed to arm the grenade
even while wearing the thick air crew gauntlet.
Würfgranate 15 - Grenade (made by AEG) for the Granatewerfer 16 light
grenade launcher. The favourite weapon of Schlachtstaffel air crew
during WWI due the hitting power of its splinters. Grenades of this type
were also used by Polish airmen during the 1920 Polish-Bolshevik war.
P. u. W. (/Prüfanstalt und Werft der Fliegertruppen/ - The Test
Institute and Workshops of the Flying Troops) bombs, the principal
weapon of German bombers in WWI. Stocks of these bombs captured at
Poznań-Ławica were subsequently used by the Polish Air Force until the
outbreak of WWII...
